Waarheen leidt de weg?

De autoverkopen vertonen al langere tijd een neerwaartse lijn.

Ondanks dat de economie goed draait, zien autofabrikanten dat niet terug in hun omzetten.

Het is op dit moment ook niet duidelijk welk kant het op gaat: is diesel nog een goede keuze, hoe lang zijn brandstofmotoren nog toegestaan, gaan we voor elektrisch, hybride of waterstof?

Wordt het een zelf rijdende auto of houden wijzelf het stuur in handen?

De autofabrikanten maken ook niet de indruk het antwoord op die vragen te weten en lijken wel een beetje stuurloos rond te dobberen in de hoop op duidelijkheid en betere tijden.

Welk merk kopje onder gaat en welk merk boven komt drijven blijft daardoor voorlopig ongewis.

Three Is A Crowd

The ultimate cult-car nowadays: the Volkswagen Transporter. Here I've drawn three of them in a sort of German garage. People pay little fortunes to have one. Regarding the price you had to pay fifty years ago, you might say they were a good investment. But most of these cars were used by entrepeneurs for their daily business. So few are saved in good condition, which also explains their raisen value.

King Of The Road

Yesterday we had the Royal Inauguration of our new King. We also had fancy fairs throughout the country and on the one held in our village I came across a model of a car we really like: a Volkswagen Microbus.
This one is a scalemodel of the 1962 model and we are hoping to buy a real one, in the future. There are not so many good ones left over the years and the ones still riding are all a bit above our current budget. So I'm not sure we can get our hands on a model like this. But a more recent model will be quite welcome also.
